What you type into a calculator

All calculations run in your browser. The numbers and options you enter are not sent to our servers and we do not store them.

Hosting and server logs

The site is delivered by Cloudflare. To serve pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. We do not use this data to identify you. Cloudflare describes its processing in its own privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Advertising and cookies

KitPine uses Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites.

Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google’s My Ad Centre (myadcenter.google.com). You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.

Consent in the UK, the EEA and Switzerland

If you visit from the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, a consent message from Google’s consent management platform asks for your choice before personalised ads or advertising cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time through the privacy settings link that the message provides.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and calculators are used. It sets cookies and sends Google data such as the pages you view, your approximate location, your device and browser type, and how you arrived. The numbers you type into a calculator are not sent. If you visit from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, analytics cookies are used only after you agree in the consent message described above. Google explains how it uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can stop the measurement with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

If you email us

We use your email address and message only to reply to you, and we delete them once they are no longer needed for that purpose.

Children

KitPine is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data and to object to its use. In the UK, these are the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to erasure and the right to object under the UK GDPR.

We hold almost no personal data about visitors, but you can write to contact@kitpine.com with any request. For data processed by Google for advertising, you can also use the controls Google provides.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
